About Journal

The Elementary Mathematics Education Journal is a free electronic journal published by the Department of Mathematics Faculty of Education Palacky University in Olomouc which creates an area for discussion of issues in elementary mathematics education theory, innovations and research in education of mathematics teachers at primary and preprimary school levels, current problems and trends in mathematics education, assessment and evaluation in mathematics education, digital technology in mathematics education, psychology in mathematics education and also realized research in mathematics education. This journal was founded on the initiative of academics and researchers of the Visegrad Four countries, but is open to all experts who deal with this issue.

This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

The Elementary Mathematics Education Journal publish electronic papers two times a year.
